As an anti-estrogen, Arimidex is crucial for breast cancer patients, as many types of breast cancer thrive on estrogen. For those using anabolic steroids, AIs should primarily be reserved for use during cycles, with SERMs utilized for PCT instead.

For treating breast cancer, Arimidex is typically administered at a dosage of 1mg daily until the cancer is in remission. Treatment may continue at this dosage for some time and is often transitioned to Nolvadex as a preventive strategy after remission.

For anabolic steroid users, the dosages of Arimidex can vary, with a common range being 0.5-1mg every other day. Most individuals will not require more than 1mg every other day, and many may find 0.5mg sufficient. That said, competitive bodybuilders may choose to increase their dose to a full 1mg daily for the last 10-14 days leading up to a competition, as this could be beneficial for achieving a more defined physique, albeit at the cost of energy levels during this demanding period.
